TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

DAY 1 LIVINGSTONE
After your arrival at Livingstone Airport, you will be met by your guide. A transfer will take you to the rental company to collect your 4×4 safari vehicle and also to familiarise you with the vehicle and its equipment. From here travel to a lodge in Livingstone to overnight in their camping accommodation for two nights.
DAY 2 LIVINGSTONE
This day will be spent visiting the Victoria Falls, and doing all the activities that are available in and around Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is regarded as the adventure capital of Africa. White water rafting, kayaking, bungee jumping, jet boating, scenic flights over the Falls, shopping at the markets in Victoria Falls and Livingstone, are just some of the activities available.
Kafue National Park is the largest park in Zambia and covers more than 22,500sqkm. This is a spectacular park where you can still experience the Africa of years gone by seeing wildlife in their timeless capsule. More than 400 species of bird life can be seen, due to the waters of the Kafue and Luangwa rivers, and also the Lake Itezhi-Teshi.
DAY 3 KAFUE NATIONAL PARK
Leave Livingstone and travel in a northerly direction via Choma, Kabulambanda to Kalala at Lake Itezhi-Teshi, entering into Kafue National Park at Musa gate. Overnight in the vicinity of New Kalala. Boat trips on the lake are available.

DAY 4 CHUNGA
Early morning travel to Chunga, doing wildlife viewing along the floodplains of the Kafue River. This is an excellent opportunity to see the Big Five. Overnight at Chunga camp.
DAY 5&6 LUFUPA
After breakfast travel +/- 90km to arrive at Lufupa camp, which is situated where the Lufupa and Kafue rivers meet. Here you will stay for two nights. You will also have leisurely game drives during these two days in the vicinity of Lufupa camp.
DAY 7 MONGU
Early morning leave from Lufupa camp to Mongu. Exiting the park at Tatayoyo gate, pass Kaoma on way to arrive at Mongu. Overnight in the lodge accommodation.
DAY 8 KATIMA MULILO
Today travel to Katima Mulilo in Namibia. Katima Mulilo, a remote but pleasant town, lies at the eastern end of the Caprivi Strip in Namibia. Have lunch in the vicinity of Ngonye Falls. The falls is a 1km wide waterfall in the Zambezi River, first discovered by Dr Livingstone when he was on his way to Victoria Falls. Pass the border into Namibia at Sesheke.
Overnight at the camping ground of a lodge in Katima Mulilo which lies on the bank of the Zambezi River. The town of Kasane in northern Botswana is the gateway to the Chobe National Park. It is also the place where Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe meet.
DAY 9&10 KASANE
After breakfast, leave from Katima Mulilo driving in a southeasterly direction for about 70km to enter into Botswana at the Ngoma bridge border post. From here travel 52km through the top part of Chobe National Park to arrive at a lodge in Kasane. Overnight for two nights at a lodge in Kasane. Open vehicle game drives into the Chobe National Park as well as sundowner boat cruises can be done here.
DAY 11 LIVINGSTONE/JOHANNESBURG
Today travel back to Livingstone via the Kazangula ferry, to return the vehicles at the rental company. A transfer will take you to your next accommodation or the Livingstone airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.
